The Let’s Talk LD's Post-Secondary Planning &  Transition Conference is one of the only free multi-day conferences in the nation that is designed and produced SPECIFICALLY for neurodivergent youth and young adults (and the family members, allies, and transition professionals who support them). Our conference was created to address the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals as they navigate their post-secondary planning and transition journey, and pursue academic, job and career, and civic engagement opportunities. Our Mission

Let's Talk LD mission is to drive systemic change that is focused on closing equity, opportunity, and achievement gaps for neurodivergent individuals in the areas of education, employment, and civic  engagement.  Our practice, as educational leaders, has been shaped by community and youth organizing efforts that advance educational and social justice for marginalized youth.

Let's Talk LD addresses critically important social justice and equity of educational opportunity issues faced by those in the neurodiverse community. 

 

Our Post-Secondary Planning & Transition Institute and Conference feature an exciting community of thought leaders, practitioners, and transition professionals who are leaders in their fields. This year's event will be presented as a hybrid conference, with our virtual Post-Secondary Transition Planning Institute programming occurring on Monday, September 26th through Friday, September 30th. Live/In-person Conference programming will be presented on Saturday, October 1st at Los Angeles Trade Technical College (LATTC).  For more information, click here.
